Glee

So how did the solid of "Glee" selected to interpret Katy Perry's hit "California Gurls" for their show? To be frank, they actually did not interpret it at all.


Leisure Weekly has a brand new preview video from the show's upcoming post-Tremendous Bowl episode, and it actually would not do something to assuage the concerns of these of us who fear that this episode could possibly be all type and little or no substance. There are fire hoops, torches, bikinis, and bike tips on this minute long clip, however in the end Sue Sylvester walks away unimpressed.


Whereas we on this end ought to feel somewhat bit higher than Sue about this, it's a bit jarring to see a track like this featured on "Glee" without it actually getting carried out by the cast. Sure, it would not have made sense for cheerleaders to sing it -- but it's still a little bit of a letdown after seeing what Darren Criss managed to pull off with "Teenage Dream" earlier this season.


Then again, co-executive producer Brad Falchuk says this quantity was largely designed to keep males watching:
